What’s Hot at CES? Sleep Number® x12 bed named CES Innovations HonoreePosted on
From the showroom floor of the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the premier consumer electronics and consumer technology show, SLEEP NUMBER will be introducing its most technologically-advanced, innovative and individually-focused bed ever: the Sleep Number® x12 bed powered by SleepIQ™ technology.
The new and proprietary Sleep Number® x12 bed integrates four technologies with its proprietary DualAir technology to create one platform that delivers the ultimate, comfortable sleep experience and:
•Comprehensively tracks and monitors your sleep;
•Shows what comfort adjustments you can make to your Sleep Number setting;
•Helps you decide what changes to make to your daily routine;
•Empowers you to make those adjustments to achieve your best sleep.
It’s really quite transformational; in fact, this bed was selected as a 2014 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Honoree in BOTH the “Home Appliances” and “Health &Fitness” product categories— in Sleep Number’s very first year at this world-class event.
The Sleep Number® x12 bed brings together proprietary technologies – Advanced DualAir™ Technology, SleepIQ™ technology, FlexFit™ Technology (with voice activation), superior comfort and design, and a communication platform – that will help you sleep like a champ.
The Sleep Number® x12 bed is the first Sleep Number bed powered by SleepIQ™ technology, which is a touch-free technology integrated into the Sleep Number bed’s Advanced DualAir technology (you don’t have to wear bands or turn on a system); all you have to do is sleep. SleepIQ technology will comprehensively monitor presence in bed, average breathing rate, movement and average heart rate.
SleepIQ technology provides both sleep partners with personal data, including a SleepIQ score, each night. Using the SleepIQ’s journaling feature and your individual SleepIQ data, you’ll be able to track and identify those routines that affect your sleep; such as exercise, caffeine intake and TV usage. Only this bed will help you truly understand what impacts your sleep and make the appropriate adjustments so you can know the best sleep of your life.
Media attending CES are invited to stop by the Sleep Number booth – #26729 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. To schedule a one-on-one product demonstration and briefing, please contact Sarah Reckard at firstname.lastname@example.org.
